Finance Committee
An organizational committee that works with the MACM Board to oversee the financial dealings of the MACM organization. The primary responsibility of this committee is to: establish accounting practices, ensure control over the finances, make sure that funding requirements and obligations are being fulfilled, that accurate financial records are maintained, and that financial matters are being conducted legally, ethically, and efficiently.

Trisha Mernitz
First Vice President (Legislative & Outreach Committee Chair), Court Operations Supervisor, Seventh Judicial District
Trisha Mernitz is the Court Operations Supervisor for Otter Tail County in the Seventh District, over all lines of business. She began her career with the Branch in 2015, as a Court Operations Associate in the Criminal, Juvenile and CHIPS division and courtroom/scheduling clerk in Clay County Court Administration, and was promoted to Lead Worker in 2019. She moved into her current role in June of 2021. Trisha is an active member of the Minnesota Association for Court Management (MACM) since 2021, serving on the Legislative and Outreach Committee. She has participated in the Development in Action (DiA), Merging Minds, Lead Worker Series and Supervisory Spectrum programs. Trisha is pursuing her Certified Court Manager certification from the National Center for State Courts.
Angie Jonas
Second Vice President (Education Committee Chair), Administrative Services Supervisor, Second Judicial District
Angie Jonas is the current MACM Second Vice President and Education Committee chair. She began her career with the Minnesota Judicial Branch in 2000 where she was a Senior Court Clerk in Washington County. During her time in Washington County, Angie worked in the Civil, Criminal, and Court Scheduling divisions. In 2015, she transitioned to Ramsey County in the role of Criminal Calendar Coordinator. Angie is currently the Administrative Services Supervisor for the 2nd Judicial District. Angie has been an active member of both the Education and Membership Services Committees since 2016. She was the vice-chair of the Education Committee from 2018-2022.
Megan Bergman
President, Multi-County Court Administrator - Benton/Mille Lacs, Seventh Judicial District
Megan Bergman serves as the Court Administrator for the Minnesota Supreme Court, leading the administrative functions essential to the highest court in the state. Since joining the Minnesota Judicial Branch in 2011, Megan has cultivated an impressive career marked by progressive leadership and a deep commitment to optimizing court operations and wellbeing.
Her extensive experience encompasses critical roles across the state and federal judicial systems, including pivotal positions in court operations, training, and supervision. Most recently, Megan demonstrated exceptional leadership and broad operational acumen as a Multi-County Court Administrator for Benton and Mille Lacs counties in the 7th Judicial District. Prior to this, she quickly advanced through leadership roles as Court Operations Supervisor and then as Court Administrator for Isanti County.
Academically distinguished, Megan earned her Master’s degree in Criminal Justice Leadership and Management from Concordia University, St. Paul, graduating summa cum laude in 2019, following her Bachelor’s from Rasmussen University. Her dedication to excellence was formally recognized in 2022 with the individual State Court Administrator’s award. Megan is a highly respected figure within the Minnesota Association for Court Management (MACM); she was elected MACM President in the Fall of 2024 and consistently invests in her professional growth through advanced leadership and educational courses. Megan Bergman’s expertise and proven leadership are integral to the effective and innovative administration of justice within the organization.
Shawnna Kramer
Secretary, Court Operations Manager - Dakota County, First Judicial District
Shawnna Kramer works in the 1st Judicial District as a Court Operations Manager in Dakota County. She currently oversees the day-to-day operations of the Major Criminal, Juvenile/CHIPs and Jury Trial Clerk Units. She has been with the branch for twelve years. She is an active member of the 1st Judicial Districts Equal Justice Committee and has served as a subject matter expert on a variety of local and state wide work groups. She is currently a Certified Court Manger with the NCSC and is working towards completing her Certified Court Executive programming. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, being outdoors, reading, trying new restaurants, watching the Wild and being bossed around by her sassy cat Luna.
Meghan Knapp
Treasurer, Accounting Manager, First Judicial District
Meghan is the Accounting Manager for the First Judicial District and began her career with the Minnesota Judicial Branch in 2008 where she worked as an Office Assistant II in Court Services. In 2011 she moved to the First Judicial District where she worked as an Office Assistant III in both HR and Administration, before finally landing in the Finance Department in 2013 as an Accounting Technician. Meghan held two more positions while working in Finance; in 2016 she was promoted to Accounting Officer, and then promoted to Accounting Manager in 2019. Meghan has participated in the DiA, Merging Minds, and Supervisory Spectrum programs. Meghan has also attained both her Court Certified Manager and Executive certificates from the National Center for State Courts.
